Some quick fic stats for 2024
Apr. 30th, 2024 09:15 pmSince I got off to a good start (and ended last year on a productive note, too), this is just for me to keep track of what fanfic drafts I've finished this year... and hopefully motivate me to keep some momentum going through December. Nothing too complicated.
(I've been really working on actually completing things this year. 6^^; Usually, a lot of my drafts end up collecting dust somewhere.)
Jan 1st ~ May 31st

➔ Total number of fics: 14
➔ Total number of words: 7,555 (!! already?! also, that's a rather aesthetic number~ XD)
Fandoms: 7
✧ The Witcher x4 (was writing it at the end of 2023, too!)
✧ Stranger Things x3 (last posted fic was in March 2023!)
✧ X-Men x2 (last posted fic was in August 2015! OH HELLO I'M BACK Y'ALL)
✧ 2 new for me (x1 each): The Hobbit/Tolkien, Gundam Seed
✧ 3 other old favorites (x1 each): Inception, Final Fantasy VII, Sunshine (2007)

Also have my Gen Prompt Bingo card and would like to do something for a Harringrove (StTh) event.
----> I think I have a plan for my bingo card! But I've got nothin' for HG events, ahahahaha, oh no.
I didn't make any specific fic writing goals for this year. Maybe write and share over 10K? I got so close to that word count last year. Maybe participate in more fandom and general writing events? Work on old ideas? There are a handful of fandoms that I've started drafts for in recent years, or I've been interested in for a long time, but I've never posted in.
It hasn't even been six months, and I'm doing pretty damn well already, I think. :D I feel like I should be in shock and have a blanket around me, haha.
