Oops...
I... didn't mean to not post anything here for a full month. 6>_>;; March kinda slipped away from me, especially the last week of it. T^T
I should (I think) have time to backdate a couple of posts, at least, this week.
The start of April marks the start of the new school year, but students don't have to be there until the 8th. And then there's a lot of new school year stuff that needs to be done (like entrance ceremonies and freshmen orientation, not to mention my own meetings with teachers) before I'll be joining/assisting in any English classes.
But yes, I haven't forgotten about Dreamwidth already, don't worry. XD;

That's interesting about April being the start of a new school year. In England, our school years always start in September. I think it goes back to the Middle Ages when children were needed over August to help bring in the harvest, then they would start afresh in September.
Or it might be something to do with Celtic New Year, although that starts in November. Hmm...I don't know. But our academic years go September-July.

In the States (where I'm from), the school year was always August to May for me, and I think some places finish it in June. The US also set it up that way because of farming and harvest season.

OMG. I can't imagine starting school in August. I don't think any European could! haha. Our year seems longer than the US though: September to July. I suppose you must have longer summer holidays with better weather though perhaps?
Our weather is changing 24/7, it can be rainy from June to September sometimes 🙄
